Sandeep Kapur brings a great deal of simplicity, artistic and emotional understanding to his people photography, his images are an experiences to be enjoyed by the heart and mind as well as the eyes, he enjoys many photographic genres although he wanted to be a landscape photographer he was subconsciously shooting people more than nature.

In sept 2005 he won an award for his photographic skills and his gifted humanistic ability to bring a sense of life to his images. In recognition of this award he was given a Canon 350D camera kit. To his utter surprise he was awarded for his people photography skills & that gave him reasons to believe in himself more & more for his ability in capturing human emotions, his people photographs depict human emotions in simplest to intricate form, he presently is working on a book on Chatishghar, shooting lives of rural & tribal people.

Life touched him through the various angles of lens, a mother adoring her sleeping child, smiles of young school children, an old man’s dignified wrinkled lines, a bird teaching its new born to fly and survive. He started to FEEL and SEE MORE.

His interest in photography took him to the rural and remote parts of India. After being there he realized that the city dwellers have forgotten how to live, everybody in the city is in a mad rush and nobody knows why? In the rural and remote areas he saw people having a relaxed pace of life, facing all hardships with a smile. He witnessed people from different cultures, saw them living in harsh terrains, saw some breathtaking places & he fell in love with INDIA all over again.
